Rules
Tic Stack Toe is a fun, re-imagined, way to play classic tic-tac-toe! The durable board and stacking game pieces are perfect for anyone looking for games that can be neatly packed away for transport or storage.
- Objective -
You can still play traditional tic-tac-toe but when you're ready for a challenge it's time to get stacking!
Be the first player to get three of your pieces in a row — horizontally or diagonally. (Vertical stacks don’t count as a win!)
- Setup -
- Each player chooses a color pod of pieces.
2 Small pieces
2 Medium pieces
2 Large pieces - The board includes built-in score sliders so you can keep track while playing best 3 out of 5 games.
- How to Play -
- Take turns placing one piece at a time on the board.
- You may place your piece on any open space, or stack it over another piece - your or your opponent's - as long as your piece is larger and can fully cover it.
- Strategic stacking:
Cover an opponent’s piece to claim that position.
Cover your own piece to strengthen your position or block future moves. - Continue taking turns until one player achieves three in a row (horizontal or diagonal)
- Winning the Game -
- A win occurs when you have three of your color in a row — horizontal or diagonal only.
- After each game, slide your score marker forward.
- The first player to win three rounds wins the match!
